Inspired by a true story, the young men champion their own disabilities as they find themselves at a major crossroads, the outcome of which could affect the lives of everyone in War Eagle. It is a dramatic, funny story, which will touch us all.

The true story of War Eagle, Arkansas is based on two boys growing up in North Little Rock, Arkansas, who form an unlikely friendship that has lasted more than 22 years. The uniqueness of their bond is even more compelling given their individual handicaps. Enoch is a good-looking athlete struggling with a speech impediment, and Wheels is a spirited young man suffering from cerebral palsy and is wheelchair bound. Auditions were held in New York and Los Angeles before Luke Grimes and Dan McCabe were cast to play the Arkansas natives.

Screenwriter Graham Gordy, born and raised in Conway, Arkansas, has crafted a charming and intimate screenplay that will inspire people everywhere. Graham is currently co-writing the new Mike Myers’ film from Paramount Pictures (Austin Powers and SNL fame). Executive Producer Vincent Insalaco, of North Little Rock, created the project and continues to oversee production.

Shooting is August 7th - September 1st and will showcase some of the most beautiful parts of Arkansas including; War Eagle, Arkansas, Eureka Springs, Huntsville, Berryville, the Buffalo River and other locations. The two young men, on whom the movie is based are available for interviews in North Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, there will be opportunities to visit the set while the actors are on location shooting.
